Oukaïmeden is a small mountainous commune located at about 76 km from Marrakech city with altitudes rising between 2600 to 3200 metres. Although Oukaimeden is mostly known for its ski resort, winter sport activities, and mountain climbing, it is distinguished by its rich biodiversity. Unfortunately, Oukaïmeden is very little known as a repository of an invaluable natural and cultural heritage and history that must be preserved for future generations.
Local community members, in collaboration with Moroccan Biodiversity & Livelihoods Association, are inviting you to discover Oukaïmeden and all it has to offer in an eco conscious manner.
